IFOC 2008 Annual Conference

There are two options for I.F.O.C. Chaplains and guests who wish to come to this conference. You are encouraged to come for all three days, but may come for any portion.

Option I: REGISTRATION FEE FOR CERTIFICATION CLASSES: $300-individual reg. or $550 – couple registration. This includes 1- two day certification course (IE, ICISF, CERT, IFOC Train-the-Trainer, etc.) (there are Seven Training Tracks to choose from). This includes several breakout sessions, and it includes the daily luncheon at the campus cafeteria.

Option II: There is “NO CHARGE” TO ATTEND for those who would like to attend without registering for a class. - A Time to FELLOWSHIP with Dr. David & Judy Vorce, and other IFOC Chaplains from around the country, as well as the evening conference meetings. If you want to have meals on campus with those attending classes, the meals will cost $7.00 per meal.

DORM ROOM @ Heidelberg College is $35.00/night. If you do not wish to stay or eat at Heidelberg College, there are numerous restaurants and hotels within 10 minutes of the campus. To make reservations at Heidelberg College contact SC3 (Office: 1- 419-455-9320) email

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS!! “Laying On of Hands” Commissioning Service for NEWLY Credentialed Chaplains or those that have not yet been (Officially Prayed for/”sent out” Held on Saturday evening, 7 PM. EVERYONE is encouraged to attend this special time. There is no fee, but you must register with the SC3 office above if you wish to be individually prayed for.

FILM CREW from LA, Calif. Will be coming to film the conference and testimonies for a documentary and IFOC promo DVD. -PLEASE, everyone wear your “I.F.O.C. GEAR” (IE, I.F.O.C. T-shirts, jackets, caps, golf style shirts, and if you have them, bring your dress uniform). This is available for order on internet and will be available for sale at the conference.

Track 1: CISM Group : A 2 day ICISF certificate course taught by ICISF certified trainers. CISM Group is required before taking any other ICISF courses. IFOC offers this course in partnership with the International Critical Incident Foundation and uses and endorses the CISM Model of Debriefings. Track 2: CISM Advanced : A 2 day ICISF certificate course taught by ICISF certified trainers. CISM Group is required before taking any other ICISF courses. IFOC offers this course in partnership with the International Critical Incident Foundation and uses and endorses the CISM Model for Debriefings. Track 3: ICISF Individual : A 2 day ICISF course taught by ICISF Certified trainers. Prerequisite: CISM Group Track 4: IFOC Train the Trainer A 2 day official IFOC certificate course taught by Founder and President, Dr. David C Vorce and other IFOC Trainers with a purpose of equipping those IFOC Chaplains desiring to become Trainers for the Basic Chaplaincy training. Track 5: Face to Face Group Encounter : A 3 day Certificate course offered by Chaplain Les Winnick, founder of Listening Ears, Healing Hearts. Les and his daughter developed this program offering deliverance, healing and support to those in the midst of struggle with any issue. Track 6: Four Certificates Bundle : Wedding/Funeral/Suicidology/Hospital Chaplaincy, each class consists of 4 hours of instruction in each topic equaling a 2 day class. Track 7: CERT Citizen Emergency Response Team training. A 2 day intensive course offered by local CERT Team trainers and the Seneca Community Chaplain Corps. Students will learn search and rescue techniques, First Aid, cribbing and more to be of service in their local community when disaster strikes. This course is part of the Presidents Disaster Preparedness plan and is carried out through local Citizen Corps Councils.
